What We Believe

We believe that the Scripture, both the Old Testament and the New Testament (66 books), is the divinely inspired Word of God. It is accurate, infallible, and authoritative for faith and practice.

We believe in one eternal God, the Creator of everything. He exists in three Persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit, equal in every divine perfection, fulfilling distinct yet harmonious roles in the grand work of redemption. God is infinitely holy, powerful, compassionate, loving, and glorious; deserving of all conceivable love and respect, trust and obedience, majesty, authority, and strength, both now and eternally.

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ, who is both God and man, is the only One capable of reconciling us to God. He led a sinless and exemplary life, sacrificed Himself on the cross for us, and rose again to demonstrate His victory and empower us for life.

We believe that all mankind are sinners and that sin has caused not only physical death but also spiritual death, which is separation from God, as well as His purpose for our lives.

We believe that the salvation of sinners is a gift of grace through faith in Jesus Christ, the Son of God, made possible by the shedding of His blood. To attain forgiveness and experience the Holy Spirit's regeneration, we must repent of our sins, have faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, and yield to His will for our lives.

We believe that it is the will of God that we be sanctified daily and transformed into the likeness of Christ through the work of the Holy Spirit, become partakers of His holiness, growing in faith, power, love, and service.

We believe in the imminent return of Jesus Christ to judge the living and the dead and to establish His eternal kingdom.

Our church community is characterized by our commitment to God’s Word and reliance on the Holy Spirit. We hold that the Word & Spirit were fundamental to the church's establishment on Pentecost and should serve as our foundation too.

Consequently, our guiding documents, which include our beliefs, mission, vision, and core values, reflect the high regard we have for scriptural authority and the empowering presence of the Spirit in our lives.
